Last night was surreal.

So, besides my hometown winning the game, my friend Noah made an appearance in one of the Superbowl ads (above.) Having loved the art-world remixing director Mark Romanek employed in music videos in the 90s, it’s a sort of honor to be one of the inspiration-pieces he’s now remixed into this ad, and I’m exceedingly happy that he cast Noah in the re-do. “Of course - today is the day - BLACK AND GOLD IS IN THE SUPERBOWL!!! This is how we feel…we feel that we have already won!! You saw the last game - that was like the superbowl to us…as was every game before that…the saints won and we just kept getting happier and happier…after 43 years of dreaming and wishing and praying…WE WON!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!! Go Saints Go!! For the Saints fans now and those before us…this is purely a miracle!!! And it is happening right in the middle of Mardi Gras season!! Instead of “Throw Me Something Mister” the call is now “WHO DAT”!! It is black and gold all up and down the entire Gulf Coast!! New Orleans has scheduled a Saints parade on this Tuesday (win or lose) to show the greatest appreciation for the Saints!! When Black and Gold get together there is no black and white! The Who Dat nation has reached its day of vindication!! The Who Dat Nation’s national anthem is the Ying Yang twins “Stand Up and Get Crunked”!! We even have our own flag - instead of red, white and blue it is of course Black and Gold - black with gold stripes - instead of stars - there are gold fleur de lis’s and its waving proud all over the place! We are riding high on pure happiness…even the churches and its clergy are celebrating and praying for the Saints!! GO SAINTS GO!!!!”
